Janssen’s accomplishments continued, performing live at Digital Dreams Mainstage, opened for Juno-nominated Canadian artist Ria Mae, performed at major Toronto venues such as The Great Hall, The Opera House, and TIFF, and has been repeatedly featured on American iHeart Dance Radio and SiriusXM.
In 2020, as the world came to a halt, Janssen released her original song ‘Dancing When I Die’, The single quickly took on a life of its own, hitting over 6 million streams, over 50,000 playlist saves, received undeniable Spotify editorial playlisting support, skyrocketing the artist’s monthly listeners.
The momentum of this release brought forth a wide array of opportunities and relationships, catching the attention of artist Jack Trades and leading into a collaboration between the two artists on Trade’s single ‘Kill Me Slowly’. Janssen’s songwriting struck gold again, with the track receiving over 7 million streams to date, and massive Editorial playlisting support. The single made waves on some of Youtube's most powerful music outlets, racking in millions of plays through channels like Mr. Suicide Sheep, Mr. Revillz, Sensual Musique, Chill Nation, and more.
Fast forward to 2022, Janssen has wasted no time on moving with the momentum she’s built for herself. Proving her songwriting ability, she’s attended writing camps for Songwriters Association of Canada, Ultra Music, Local Hay Records (Big Loud, Nashville) and an exclusive camp for American Idol contestants.
